T
ravis Dolter is a dynamic country music artist known for his high-energy performances and ability to connect with audiences. Authentic country-raised on the family farm near Edmonton, Alberta, Travis has always been a performer. In theatres, bars, rodeos, or festivals, he captivates everyone in attendance with his wide range of styles and is often compared to a country version of the Barenaked Ladies.
2024 was a year full of opportunity and growth. After completing a 2 year after degree in Education, Travis was able to hone in on his music career. Fortunate to be 1 of 20 artists selected for the TD Incubator for Creative Entrepreneurship, as well as 1 of 11 artists selected for the AE West Canadian Music Incubator program, he has developed his music business knowledge, writing, vocals and performance skills. Being selected for these programs speaks to the value and potential seen in Travis as he advances his career.
With 85 plus self-booked shows in 2024, Travis entertained audiences across Western Canada. Highlights included a Saskatchewan tour; performances at Ponoka Stampede, Country Thunder Alberta, Big Valley Jamboree and Calgary Stampede, along with several other events.
Through it all, Travis still found the time to step into the studio with award winning producer Bart McKay, to record fresh new self written music. His latest single “Hell of a Saturday Night” is receiving airplay on Sirius XM and sync placements on Hockey Night in Canada. On top of these successes, Travis is also nominated for two Country Music Alberta Awards: Video of the Year – “Hell of a Saturday Night”, and the 2024 Fan’s Choice Award. This new track is the latest example of the high energy performance Travis brings to every show.
In October, Travis spent time in Nashville, writing with Aaron Goodvin and other accomplished songwriters, joining forces on a line of incredible new music to come. 2025 is on pace to surpass the already impressive 2024 bookings total, and his 2026 calendar is already starting to fill.
Most recently, Travis was humbled to share the Festival Place stage with Jojo Mason and Steven Lee Olson as an opener for their Country Night in Canada Tour.
